Intended for use with the Airfix Ferret Mk.2.
This is not just a standalone set. It can also be easily combined with the SMM3564L Interior Set. The fuel tank is identical in both sets, though a small modification is needed.The air cleaner is similar, but has a longer pipe.
The engine on the real Ferret is a Rolls-Royce B60. This is the six cylinder, 4.26 litre water-cooled petrol engine connected by a fluid coupling to a pre-selector five speed epicyclic gearbox. The B60 Mk.3A engine produced 116 bhp at 3,300 rpm and 129 bhp at 3,750 in its later B60 Mk.6A form.
